Roger Cormier, 84, of Manchester, NH passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He was born on July 1, 1933 in Coaticook, Qubec to the late Moise and Rose-Helen (Cloutier) Cormier.
He was a member of The Boston Carpenters Union Local 33. He retired in 1998.
He was a hard worker all of his life. After retiring he continued to do odd jobs. He was very friendly and enjoyed talking to everyone.
He loved spending time with his grand-children and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed time with Ti-Ga (his dog),fishing, WWE, and yard sales. He was a member of the Legion of One Thousand Men.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ginette (Jubinville) Cormier, his brother Roland Cormier and his sister Rose-aimee Cormier.
He is survived by his two son's Daniel (Dan) Cormier of Manchester, N.H. and Denis Cormier and his wife Judeann of Alton, N.H.; his siblings Therese Lemerise, Simonne April, Marie Jeanne-Vanasse, Normand Cormier,Philippe Cormier, Pauline Lauzon, Denis Cormier; Lee Ann Cormier the daughter he never had and caretaker.; caretaker Albert Cote; and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium located at 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH on Friday June 1st from 6 to 8 PM. A Memorial service will follow at 8 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend. Burial services will be June 9, 2018 in Coaticook, Qubec.
