Roger G. R. Gagnon, 67, of Bedford, died December 1, 2004 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester on September 19, 1937, the son of Horace and Claire (Bernard) Gagnon and had been a lifelong resident of the area. For 24 years, he had worked for Hermsdorf Manufacturing. After that, he owned and operated R D G Construction Company for over 25 years until his retirement. He was long time member and past President of the Pinardville Lions Club. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Church. He was an avid golfer and belonged to the PVCC. He loved to garden and was very proud of his tomatoes. Family members include his wife of 47 years, Constance (Montminy) Gagnon; three sons, David Gagnon of Danvers, MA, Daniel Gagnon and Denis Gagnon both of Manchester; a daughters, Michele Skadberg of Fountain, CO; four grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Gagnon and Gerard Gagnon, both of Bedford; three sisters, Lucille Pinard of Manchester, Therese Smith of Bedford and Carmelle Dupuis of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:00 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
