Roger X. Grandmaison, 79, formerly of Farmer Road, Hooksett, died April 15, 2001, at the Veteran Home in Tilton, NH. He was born in Hooksett the son of Adelard and Alice (Collerette) Grandmaison and resided most of his life in Hooksett. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran of the Military Police, 101 Battalion, a member of the American Legion Post # 79 of Hooksett and the Sweeney Post of Manchester. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Velcro, USA. He was a founding member of the Fr. Langlois Council of the Knights of Columbus of Hooksett. Roger was a part-time special officer for the Town of Hooksett. He was the widower of Germaine (Messier) Grandmaison who died in 1999. Family members include a son, Raymond Grandmaison of Raymond, two daughters, Jane Dubois of Hooksett and Marie St. Laurent of Buffalo, NY, a brother Rene Grandmaison of Orem, Utah, two sisters, Rolande Couturier and Yvette Langlois both of Manchester, five grandchidren, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
