ROGER E. POP POP HAZELTON, SR.
LANDAFF, NH Roger E. Hazelton, Sr., 66, of Sym Noyes Road, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2005 at the Littleton Regional Hospital.
Roger was born a son to Earl and Una (Dickenson) Hazelton on February 16, 1939 in Monroe, NH. He was a 1957 graduate of Lisbon High School.
Roger served in the U. S. Army from 1960 to 1963. He was a member of the American Legion and was a heavy equipment operator for Audley Construction Company. He resided in Landaff for 31 years with his family, with whom he loved to spend his time. Roger was known as Pop Pop to all his grandchildren. Rogers favorite pastime was going to the casino; he loved his slot machines.
Surviving family members include his wife, Marie Hazelton of Landaff, NH; three sons, Roger Hazelton, Jr. and wife, Kim of Oregon, Ronald Hazelton of Dallas, TX, and Robert Hazelton, Sr. of Littleton, NH; one daughter, Jean Becker of Essex, VT, eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Dickenson and wife, Marilyn of Monroe, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home Lisbon Chapel, 77 South Main Street, Lisbon, NH, with Rev. Lyn O. McIntosh officiating. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery.
