Roger E. St. Onge, 67, of 344 North Main St., died July 7, 2001 at his residence following a long illness. He was born in Manchester on June 11, 1934, the son of Emile and Corrine (Demers) St. Onge and had been a lifelong resident of the City. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He had worked for over eighteen years at Foster Beef. After that, he worked as a custodian for the Manchester School System for six years until his retirement. He was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church and a member of the American Legion, Sweeney Post. Family members include his wife of 42 years, Lorinda (Robinson) St. Onge; a son, Steven R. St. Onge of Manchester; a daughter, Debra Rhinehart of Manchester; four grandchildren; three brothers, Edward St. Onge and Maurice St. Onge, both of Manchester and Leo St. Onge of Prince Edward Island, Canada; two sisters, Florence Farnsworth of Manchester and Sr. Corrine St. Onge, EC of Texas; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in Ste. Marie Church. After cremation, urn burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery.
