Roger L. Prive

Roger L. Prive, Sr., 65, of 26 Prince Street, Manchester, died April 24, 2004. at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester on September 18, 1938, the son of the late Henry and Irene (Vanasse) Prive and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He worked 20 years for W. J. Bauziere Roofer Company and retired as a custodian with the Manchester School Systems. Roger was an outdoorsman and and avid hunter and fisherman. Family members include his wife of 46 years, Mary (Turner) Prive, a son, Roger Prive, Jr., a daughter, Rena Prive, all of Manchester, two step grandchildren, four brothers; Milton Prive of Manchester, Robert Prive of Candia, Lucien “Joe” Prive and Peter Prive, both of Manchester, nine sisters; Irene Trahan, Rita Trahan, Violet Lamarine, all of Manchester, Pauline Caron of Florida, Rena Sorel of Manchester, Claire Lavertu of Ocala, Florida, June Prive of Auburn, Judy Charette and Georgette Tremblay, both of Manchester, two step grandchildrten, several nieces, nephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours and services will be private. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, is in charge of arrangements.
