Mr. Roger A. Robidas, 58, of Manchester, NH died March 31, 2007 at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston following an illness. He was born on January 30, 1949 in Manchester, NH the son on Robert A. Robidas of Manchester and the late Rita D. (Lanoie) Robidas. He was educated in Manchester and graduated from Memorial High school with the class of 1967. Following graduation he went to work for NH Welding Supply on South Willow St. In 1988 NH Welding Supply was acquired by Airgas East and Roger continued to work for the company through his health issues. He received two awards with Airgas East. On August 4, 2004, he won the Scott Melman Award, honoring long term service and outstanding work performance and ethics, a top honor within the company. On January 30, 2007 he was awarded the Robbie Sciascia Customer Service Hall of Fame Award, honoring his extraordinary dedication, quality of service to customers and efforts on behalf of Airgas. He enjoyed Nascar and the Nextel Cup races, Manchester Monarchs games and fishing. He was also handy and enjoyed fixing things. He was looking forward to the joys of being a grandfather. Besides his father, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rita (Prive) Robidas of Manchester, two sons, Kevin Robidas of Manchester and Kenneth Robidas of Manchester; two brothers, Roland Robidas of Manchester and Ronald Robidas of Manchester; sister, Denise Macrenaris of Manchester and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In His Life: He was also survived by his daughter in-law Loren (Foley) Robidas of Manchester; two sisters in-law, Marlene Robidas and Elaine Robidas both of Manchester, brother in law, Grant Macrenaris of Manchester and his mother in-law Sylvia Prive of Manchester. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
