Roger B. Villiard, Sr. 63, of Manchester died August 30, 2004 at the Laurel Center in Bedford following a period of declining health. Mr. Villiard was born on January 22, 1941 in Manchester the son of the late LHomer and Gracia (Bellemare) Villiard. He worked for International Paper in Manchester for over twenty years. He enjoyed woodworking and using his scroll saw and especially enjoyed making childrens toys. Mr. Villiard loved spending time with his family, camping, playing cards and cribbage and taking leisurely drives up to the mountains while singing their favorite Kenny Roger songs. He also enjoyed fly fishing and making tie flies with his wife. Family members include; his wife of 43 years, Jeannine (Moreau) Villiard; his daughter, Mrs. Donald (Donna) Watkins of Manchester; one son, Roger Villiard Jr. and his wife, Rochelle of Manchester; and a daughter, Joanne Villiard-Campbell of Weare; five grandchildren; three brothers, Maurice Villiard and his wife Grace of Merrimack, Donald Villiard and his wife, Josey of Mississippi and Noel Villiard of Connecticut; one sister, Pauline Villiard-Marcoux of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Conrad Villiard and Roland Villiard. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with burial to follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
