Roland J. Gill

Roland J. Gill, 82, formerly of 15 Mulsey Street, Manchester, NH died January 7, 2002, at Franklin Hospital, Franklin, NH after a brief illness. He was born in Derry, NH on July 26, 1918, the son of the late Henry and Alice (Lachapelle) Gill and had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life, moving to the NH Veteran Home in Tilton, NH in 1999. Roland was a self employed metal recycler and was an avid pool player. He was a member of the American Legion, Jutras Post # 43He enjoyed ceramics, arts and crafts. He is the widower of Lucille (Turcotte) Gill and Estelle (Ouellette) Gill. Family members include two nieces: Rita Plourde and Dee Rocca, both of Manchester, several grand nieces and nephews, several great grand nieces and nephews. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Augustin Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
