ROLAND A. HUDON HOOKSETT Roland A. Hudon, 73, died Friday, November 2, 2007, at Elliot Hospital, in Manchester, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Hudon was born on December 4, 1933, in Nashua, NH, the son of the late, Maxime and Regina (Pinault) Hudon. He was a resident of Hooksett for the past 24 years. Prior to this, he lived in Manchester. Prior to his retirement, he was employed, for 9 years, at Auclair Transportation, where he was a dispatcher. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Hudon enjoyed playing the drums, and was a member of the United States Air Force Band where he toured Europe. His hobbies and interests include radio controlled airplanes and scale model trains. Members of his family include, his wife of 51 years, Yvette P. (Yergeau) Hudon, of Hooksett; 3 sons, David, Steven and Scott Hudon, all of Manchester; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a sister, Theresa Conlin, of Anandale, VA, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 7, from 11:00 AM to 1 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in memory of Mr. Hudon.
