DUNNELLON, FL â Roland O. Palmer, 81, formerly of Goffstown, NH, died at Legacy House Hospice in Ocala, FL.
He was born on January 24, 1936, the son of George and Irene (Pepin) Palmer.
Prior to retirement, Roland was employed as a driver and worked for the City of Manchester.
Roland's love for fishing comes second only to his love of family. He served his country as an Army National Guard Veteran. He will be eternally loved and missed.
Members of his family include; his daughters, Patricia Arsenault and husband, Robert of Epsom, Diane Lacerte and husband Roger of Manchester, Jacqueline McBride and friend John Grefe of Dunnellon, FL; and Constance Boutin and her husband Francis of Manchester; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother Armand, sisters, Charlotte and Marcelle; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Roland was predeceased by his wife, Lucille I. (Proulx) Palmer and by his granddaughter, Tanya Palmer.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 6:00 â 8:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue, in Manchester. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown, NH. Committal prayers and military honors will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen.
