Roland Gilbert Ware, 93, of Goffstown, NH, passed away on June 27, 2026. Born in Danvers, MA on September 14, 1932, he was a son of the late Frederick and Edith (Carr) Ware. He shared 57 years of marriage with his late wife, M. Susan Ware.

Roland was raised and educated in Danvers, Massachusetts. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years during the 1950s. He began his career with First National Stores, where he worked as the night crew chief, and later served as a security guard for Lockheed Sanders. He also worked as a laboratory courier for Elliot Hospital.

Roland and his wife, Sue, raised their family in Beverly, Massachusetts, where they made many cherished memories with family and friends. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping and relaxing by the river. Some of his happiest times were spent on family camping trips to Covered Bridge Campground in Albany, New Hampshire. Roland also enjoyed traveling to Amish Country, reading, and spending time with friends.

Roland is survived by his daughters, Vickie Ware and her wife Mary Tobin of Goffstown and Cathy Pelonzi and her husband Jeff of Raymond; his grandchildren, Matt and Anthony Pelonzi and Adam, Chris and Andrea Ventrice; his great-grandchildren, Keagan and Molly Pelonzi; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Roland was predeceased by his son, Craig Ware; his daughter, Colleen Ventrice; his brother, Earl Ware; and his sister, Eleanor Ware.

Roland will be laid to rest with a private ceremony at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
