Ronald A. Bilodeau, 76, of 1573 Union St, died December 6, 2001 at Hanover Hill Health Care Center. He was born in Manchester on October 18, 1925, the son of Leon and Henediene (Carignan) Bilodeau and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He had worked at Evangeline Shoe company earlier in his career and then worked as a selectman for Associated Grocers of New England. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 633 and was a parishioner of St. Catherine Church. He was the widower of Madeleine (Bernard) Bilodeau who died in 1984. Family members include two daughters, Suzanne Daigneault of Woodcliff Lake, NJ and Lorraine Giroux of Bedford; two sons, Charles R. Bilodeau of Westwood, NJ and Denis Bilodeau of Hillsborough, NJ; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild; a sister, Theresa LeSieur of Manchester; a brother, Richard Bilodeau of Raymond; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:30 AM in St. Catherine Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to either the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH 03104 or to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110.
