Ronald J. Chainey Jr.

Ronald J. Chainey Jr., 65, of Manchester, NH died on November 10, 2021.

Ron was known by many names to many people: Grumpy, Uncle Boo, Arnold, and Big Ron to name a few. He was a loving family man, there was nothing in this world that mattered more to him than his family. He was larger than life and his heart was just as big.

In his early life, he worked driving trucks and was also an entrepreneur. Outside of work, he loved getting on his Harley and riding, spending time with his longtime girlfriend, family and friends. His most cherished times were being able to spend time riding with his boys and going to Bike Week and The Blessing of the Motorcycles.

Once he had grandkids, they were what he lived for, continuing the traditions of Clark's Trading Post, camping, and just about anything those kids wanted to do.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, Skippy, and his mother, Janet. He is survived by his father, Ronald J. Chainey Sr.; his long-time girlfriend of over 40 years, Kim Gowitzke; his sons, Ron Lafreniere, Chad Gowitzke and Philip Lafreniere; and his daughter, Rebecca Gowitzke.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 16th from 5-7PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
