Ronald P. Goudreau

Ronald Paul Goudreau, 65, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Manchester, he is the son of the late Jean Paul and Lillian (Boisvert) Goudreau. For many years, Ron worked as a Division Electrician for Public Service of NH. Prior to retirement, Ron was the Business Development Manager at Dead River Company.

A dedicated husband, brother, uncle, and friend, Ron's family was paramount in his life. For over 20 years, Ron and his wife, Bonnie, created lasting memories with friends and family boating on Lake Winnipesaukee. Ron fondly recalled the summer day he proudly served as Captain aboard The Aishling, a cruise and sightseeing boat, on Lake Winnipesaukee. More recently, Ron and Bonnie relished the beauty and serenity of Northwood Lake from their quaint camp. Beloved dogs, Teddy and Taz, brought Ron great comfort and companionship throughout the years. Before Ron fell ill, he, Bonnie, and Teddy embarked on a memorable RV adventure across the country. Ron was an avid skier and snowmobiler. His article, "Snowgoer", was published in the Manchester Union Leader, illustrating his passion for snowmobiling with readers. Ron will be best remembered for his generous heart and kind spirit, annually donating bicycles to the Toys for Tots Christmas drive.

Ron is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Pinard) Goudreau, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage; sister, Michelle Goudreau of Colebrook; brother, Marc Goudreau and wife Jodi of Manchester; sister-in-law, Michele Locke and husband Peter; brother-in-law, Ron Pinard and wife Connie of Castle Pines, CO; nephews, Paul Goudreau (Godson) and wife Samantha, Jason Locke and wife Tracy of Katy, TX, Mark Pinard and wife Nauzeen of Oakland, CA; nieces, Kelly Locke, Rebecca DeSantis-Miller and husband Marc of Windham, ME, Amanda DeSantis-Milani and husband Frank, Amy Hutson of Rocklin, CA, and Kristina Gallagher and husband William of Castle Pines, CO; and twelve great nieces and nephews.
