Ronald E. Greeb, 74, of Weare, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Milwaukee, WI, he is the son of the late Hermann and Ursula (Kmieciak) Greeb. Raised and educated in Wisconsin, Ron earned degrees in Electronic Engineering Technology and Business Administration, as well as a certificate in Business Management. Later, Ron matriculated to New Hampshire College, Graduate School of Business.
An honorably discharged veteran, Ron proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy as a Submarine Sonar Technician during the Vietnam War. In his nearly sixteen years of active and reserve service, Ron was stationed on the U.S.S. George Washington, Skate, and Grouper.
Following his military service, Ron was employed as an electronics technician and applications engineer for PSNH, AT&T, and, most recently, Meggitt Avionics.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Ron was the pillar of strength for his family. Ron found great comfort in his Christian Faith and was an active member of the Bethel Bible Studies Program. An avid outdoorsman, Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ron will be best remembered for his strength of character and love of family.
Ron is survived by his wife, Laureen (Berube) with whom he shared 51 years of marriage; daughter, Tammie Paris and husband Billy of Goffstown; son Scott Greeb and wife Kathleen of Auburn; five grandchildren, Jacob, Tiffany and Brooke Paris, Erich and Anna Greeb; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his sister, Linda Mae Greeb.
ARRANGEMENTS: Ronald's Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 172 King St., Boscawen on Wednesday, December 19 from 10:00A.M. to 11:00A.M. Ronald will be laid to rest with Military Honors at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen at 11:30A.M.
