Ronald A. Hall

Ronald Anthony Hall Sr. (80) passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Hacket Hill Center in Manchester, NH. He was born on September, 26 1939 in New London, CT, the son of William A Hall and Ellen R Hall (Holland).

He was the husband of Verna S. Hall. They were married on June 22, 1978 in Nashua, NH, and shared over 30 years of loving marriage until her passing.

Ronald was a graduate of Robert E. Fitch High School in Groton CT, and later earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Rivier College. He later served in the US Air Force and was very proud of his service. Ronald was also an avid model train collector and belonged to the New Haven Railroad Historical & Technical Association. Above all, Ronald loved his family immensely, and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Ronald was predeceased by his three sisters, Dotty (Brady), Jane (Ingraham) and Lorraine (Santangelo).

He is survived by his brother William Hall, his children Suzanne Moore and her husband David, of Portland, ME, Ronald A Hall Jr. and his wife Sandy, of Groton, CT; Linda Cyr and her husband Brian, of Manchester, NH and Steven Hall, of San Francisco, CA.

Calling hours for Ronald will be held on Friday, February 21 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with a service beginning at 12:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH. He will be laid to rest at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at 1:30 PM that day.
