RONALD A. LALEME
LANDAFF, NH - Ronald A. Laleme passed away on November 20, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer.
Ron, born at home in Lisbon NH on February 9th, 1938, was a son of Edward (Spike) Laleme and Maude Paige Laleme. He was a graduate of Lisbon Regional High School Class of 1956. Ron married Jennie Hesseltine of Littleton, NH on September 12th of 1958 which ended with 60 years of marriage.
Ron was a member of the National Guard and Reserves for 43 years and he was very proud of that accomplishment. He was a well-respected mechanic for 46 years and worked for area car dealerships. He traveled with his wife throughout Europe and the United States including Alaska and Hawaii and the Canadian Provinces. Over the years he enjoyed camping and snowmobiling with friends and family. Ron enjoyed his family and was an extremely devoted and loving husband, father and friend. His smile and willingness to help anyone in need with that wonderful smile will never be forgotten.
After 30 plus years of residing in Lisbon, he and Jennie moved to their current home in Landaff. He spent his last couple months in Florida with his son Brian and Jody Laleme as he didn't want to see snow and cold anymore.
He was predeceased by his parents Maude and Edward Laleme, brother Rodney Laleme and infant sister Rebecca Laleme. He is survived by his wife Jennie Laleme, two sons Brian (Jody) Laleme of New Symrna Beach, FL and Craig (Lisa) Laleme of Rockland, MA, three granddaughters Kristy (Richard) Cates of Durham, NC, and Sarah and Rachel Laleme of Rockland, MA .
SERVICES -- At his request there will be no immediate services. A graveside service, at the convenience of the family, will be planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Ron's name to either the Lisbon or Landaff Fire Departments.
