Ronald Joseph Pare

April 25, 1950 – October 27, 2026

Ronald Joseph Pare, 76, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 27, 2026.

Born on April 25, 1950, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Ron grew up in Methuen, Massachusetts, before making New Hampshire his home while attending Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), where he earned his bachelor's degree.

A man of many talents and interests, Ron was a general contractor specializing in residential homes and held his real estate license. He had a genuine passion for real estate and took great pride in the homes and properties that became part of his life. Among his favorites were his beloved home at Mt. Snow in West Dover, VT and his oceanfront home in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he enjoyed the beauty of the coast and the opportunity to relax by the beach.

Ron had an adventurous spirit and a love for life's experiences. One of his treasured memories was building the house in West Dover, Vermont, alongside his father, Roland, a home created especially for their shared love of skiing. The project was a reflection of the special bond they shared and the memories they made together.

Those who knew Ron will remember him as a generous, thoughtful, and romantic man who was always full of surprises. He had a creative eye and a special appreciation for the beauty of nature, which he expressed through his love of gardening and landscaping. He found enjoyment in creating beautiful outdoor spaces and took pleasure in the simple things, whether relaxing at the beach, spending time with family, traveling, or embracing a new adventure. Above all, Ron was a family-oriented man whose generosity and love extended beyond traditional family ties.

Ron was also a devoted Catholic, and his faith remained an important part of his life.

He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Margaret Pare, father, Roland Pare. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother in-law Stan (Stan the Man) Das and his son-in-law Mark Kalbfleisch.

He leaves behind a family and many loved ones who will cherish his memory, his wife, Maryann Pare and then his children: Matthew Pare and his significant other, Stephanie Humphrey (Eastham, MA); Jennifer Kalbfleisch (Fairfax, VT); and Peter Prinz (Manchester, NH). He is also survived by his sister, Mary Jane Das (Myrtle Beach, SC); He also leaves his grandchildren; Sabrina Pare; James Kalbfleisch; Alden Kalbfleisch; and Nevan Kalbfleisch; his niece, Andrea Das (Myrtle Beach, SC); his nephew, Eric Das, and his wife, Rana Bates-Das, and their daughter, Veneta Das (Cheshire, CT); as well as several cousins. Ron will also be lovingly remembered by his dear friend and family support provider, Mark Stevens, and his close cousin and friend, Tom Pare, whose friendship and companionship were especially meaningful. Lastly, his fur baby grandchildren, Benni, Ember, and Wynter.

Ron leaves behind a lifetime of memories, from homes built and gardens nurtured, to family gatherings, beach days, mountain adventures, and the many unexpected surprises that made him uniquely himself. His generous heart, adventurous nature, love of family, and appreciation for life's beauty will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
