Ronald F. Piotrowski, 62, of 54 Ashmere Drive, passed away September 7, 2001 at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester on April 8, 1939, the son of Francis and Ann Piotrowski and had been a resident of the city for most of his life. He had also resided in Bow for eighteen years. He was currently working at Pitco Frialator where he had been employed for 23 years, until his illness. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Steenbeke Golf League. Earlier in his life, he had played professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles Farm Team. He enjoyed traveling and was devoted to his wife, children and grandson. He had been a parishioner of St. Jude Church. Family members include his wife of 38 years, Anita (Boissoneau) Piotrowski; a son, David Piotrowski of Bedford; two daughters, Karen Piotrowski and Sandra Rogalski, both of Austin, TX; one grandson; a brother, Robert Piotrowski of Nottingham; two sisters, Wanda Piotrowski and Nancy Piotrowski, both of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St on Monday from 5 to 8 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in St. Jude Church, Londonderry. Urn burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
