Ronald G. Poire

Ronald G. Poire, 59, of 42 Goff Street, died October 5, 2001 at his residence following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Laconia on October 8, 1941, the son of Ronald F. and Muriel (Skillins) Poire and had been a Manchester resident for most of his life. He had worked for J F McElwain for many years. He had currently been employed by Summit Packaging for the past 12 years until his illness caused his retirement. Family members include his wife of 32 years, Linda (Ouellette) Poire; two brothers, Douglas Poire and Dennis Poire, both of Bedford; one nephew, one niece and several cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St on Monday from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday morning at 10:00. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse, Home Health Care, 1850 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03104.
