Ronald R. Sage, 60, of South Daytona Beach, Florida died May 14, 2011. He was born on December 5, 1950 in West Stewartstown, NH to Adolphe and Gabrielle (Lemieux) Sage. He grew up in Norton, VT and Manchester, NH. He resided in Manchester before moving to Florida.
He enlisted in the Army at age eighteen and served in the Vietnam War from July 1970 to April 1971. During that time he was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious achievement in grounds operations against hostile forces. He also earned the Army Commendation Medal and the Combat Infantryman Award all while serving in the 25th Infantry.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He loved the outdoors and the ocean and retired to the beach.
He is survived by his daughter: Joan Miller Sage, his twin brother: Donald Sage, his brother: Paul Sage and sisters: MaryJane Caron, Lucille Dery and Jeannine Gagnon and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen at a later date.
