Rosalie Helen Morris

Rosalie Helen (Poulin) Morris, 96, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2023, at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center in Manchester. She was born on September 3, 1926, in Saint-Georges de Beauce, Canada, the daughter of the late Willie and Eugenie (Champagne) Poulin. She was the wife of the late Paul L. Morris.

Rosalie was a high school graduate. She lived in many places throughout her life, including, Canada, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Oregon and North Carolina. She raised a family of four boys in North Stratford, NH before moving to Vermont. Rosalie lived in other states when her husband relocated to various positions in the lumber industry. While living in North Stratford, she worked in the then booming plywood mill while raising her family.

Rosalie was a devoted and loving mother, whose only concern was to provide and care for her family while her boys were growing up. After leaving North Stratford, she worked in retail stores selling cosmetics while living in Oregon, North Carolina and again in New Hampshire. Rosalie continued to be involved with the retail, cosmetics and fashion industry until late in her life. The last 35 years she spent living in Goffstown, NH where she enjoyed spending time with her son Richard, his wife, Denise and her grandchildren, Sarah and Eric. Rosalie very much enjoyed being involved with her grandchildren while they were growing up and being a part of their lives.

She is survived by her sons, Richard and Edward Morris; grandchildren, Sarah and Eric Morris; great grandchildren, Leo and Gus Morris; and nieces and nephews living in North Stratford, NH. In addition to her parents and husband, Rosalie was predeceased by her sons, Ronald and Gary Morris.

A funeral home service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 2:30PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. Rosalie will be laid to rest with her sons in Holy Cross Cemetery in Randolph, VT in the Spring.
