ROSE E. CASSIDY Rose E. (Roy) Cassidy, 93, of Bedford, NH, died April 11, 2006 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, after a long illness. Mrs. Cassidy was born on May 14, 1912, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Ernest and Albertine (Houle) Roy. She was a resident of Bedford for most of her life. Mrs. Cassidy was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish, in Manchester. She loved to sew, and do crossword puzzles. Members of her family include; 1 daughter, Irene Cassidy, of Manchester; 2 stepsons, Robert Tremblay and Roger Cassidy, both of Mancheter; 2 stepdaughters, Theresa McGuigan, of Manchester; Jeannette Barbin, of San Jose, California; 24 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Blanche Nault, of Manchester; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Cassidy was widowed by her husband, Wallace Cassidy, who died in 1986, and also by her former husbands, Walter Cote and Oscar Tremblay, her daughter Alice Jolicoeur and two stepsons, Andy Cassidy and Maurice Cassidy. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 8 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue, in Manchester. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated, Friday, 9 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 265 South Main Street, in Manchester. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hillsborough County Nursing Home, 400 Mast Road, Goffstown, NH 03045, in memory of Mrs. Cassidy.
