Mrs. Rose Dube, 74, of Manchester, NH died June 23, 2011 at Maple Leaf Health Care in Manchester following a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester, NH on September 24, 1936 the daughter of the late Elphege and Cora (Bouchard) St. Onge. Mrs. Dube was raised and educated in Manchester.
She worked in the electronics industry at Allen Bradley for 11 years before retiring. For many years prior she operated a family daycare in Manchester.
Mrs. Dube was a parishioner of St. George Church prior to its closure.
She enjoyed playing darts, shuffleboard and was an avid card player. Rose was a very dedicated and loving homemaker and mother, as her family was so dear to her. She always knew how to make one feel at home and welcome.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard Dube of Manchester; two sons, Richard Dube of Hooksett and Raymond Dube of Manchester; 3 grandchildren; brother, Robert St. Onge of Manchester; sister, Theresa St. Laurent of Manchester and many nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Sunday from 3-6PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow in the chapel of the mausoleum at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Roseâs name to the Alzheimerâs Association, 1 Bedford Farms Drive, Suite 105, Bedford, NH 03110 or to the charity of oneâs choice.
