Rose (Obymako-Hogan) Fisher, 93, of Manchester, NH passed away on February 9, 2021 very much loved.
Rose was born in Claremont, NH on May 20, 1927, the sixth of eight children of Aphanase and Alexandria (Voherna) Obymako.
Rose never put herself first. She was a single parent for many years until her 3 children were grown and living their own lives. Rose met the love of her life, Claude Fisher where they both worked and retired from Sylvania in Hillsboro, NH. They were married April 8, 1972, 38 beautiful years.
Rose loved cooking, baking, ceramics, yes, even snowmobiling. She loved family.
Family members include two daughters, Janet (Hogan) Gelinas of Hooksett, NH, Beverly (Hogan) Briggs and her husband Vernon of Sunapee, NH along with seven grandchildren, Tracey (Perreault) Sirkus and fiance' Devin, Shelley (Perreault) Fontaine and husband Dan, Tommy Riggas and wife Samantha, Melissa (Gelinas) Doyle and husband Bob, Matthew Gelinas, Stephanie(Hogan) Jarrell and husband Landon, Col. Kyle Hogan and wife Melissa, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Rose has a beautiful sister, Lillian Lawrence of Claremont, NH , several nieces, nephews and friends. Rose has 2 step children, Joyce Troutman of Florida and Steve Fisher and family of Contoocook, NH. Never forgetting the D'Alessio's and Kowalski's on Staten Island, N Y.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Claude in 2010 and her son Robert (Bob) Hogan in 2018, along with her brothers Michael and Paul Obymako, sisters Mary Siwek, Nadja (Hope) Porter, Olga Obymako and Sophie Chandler.
A private graveside burial will take place in the Spring at Mountain View Cemetery in Claremont where Rose and Claude will be laid to rest together.
