Rose Berthe (Bernatchez) Paquin, 87, of 207 Notre Dame Avenue, died August 11, 2001 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a long illness. She was born in Canada on December 25, 1913, the daughter of Emile and Rose Bernatchez and had been a Manchester resident for most of her life. She had worked at Arms Textile for many years and also was employed by J F. McElwain until her retirement. She was a member of the Alpine Club and a parishioner of St. Marie Church. Family members include two sons, Donald Paquin of Manchester and Ronald Paquin of Pembroke; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Aline) Francoeur of Allenstown and Mrs. John (Madeleine) Roux of Manchester; fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; a sister, Aline Prince of Lynn, MA and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave. on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 in St. Marie Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
