Rose M. Soucy

Rose M. (Mercier) Soucy, 65, of 118 Boutwell Road, Manchester and 16844 Church Drive, North Ft. Myers, FL died October 22, 2000 at her home in Manchester following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Manchester on September 21, 1935, the daughter of the late Roland and Marie (Lesmerises) Mercier. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She was a well know travel agent, serving the people of Manchester for many years planning vacations and business trips. In 1998, she retired from Paradis Travel Agency as a devoted travel agent and office manager. She enjoyed traveling to North Ft. Myers, FL in the winter months and spending her summers on Silver Lake in Tilton, where she was known as the ''M&M Lady''.She was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Family members include her husband of 44 years, Marcel Soucy; two sons, Steven Soucy of Goffstown and Kenneth Soucy of Manchester; a daughter, Carol Anne Soucy of Manchester, three grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
