Rosemarie Whiting

Rosemarie M. Whiting, 71, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Nashua, NH, she is the daughter of the late Clement and Theresa (Deschenes) Bergeron. Raised and educated in Nashua, Rosemarie was a resident of Manchester for over 40 years. Rosemarie cherished living close to her daughter, Sara, with whom she shared a close bond and relationship. Rosemarie worked for Velcro for over 20 years until her retirement in 2020.

A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Rosemarie’s family was paramount in her life. Rosemarie was an avid reader in her spare time. She loved biking, exploring nature, catching a glimpse of owls. In her younger years, she enjoyed embroidery and sewing. Rosemarie will be best remembered for her kind heart and love of family.

Rosemarie is survived by her daughter, Sara Whiting; son, Wallace Whiting, Jr. and wife Jessica; five grandchildren, Patrick, Ellie, Haelie, Lexi, and Kayliana; sister, Toni Boucher and husband Paul; two brothers, Pierre Bergeron and wife Sue, and Alexander Bergeron and wife Maria; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Rosemarie was predeceased by her sister, Yvonne.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Wednesday, January 22 from 6:00 to 7:00PM followed by her Funeral Service at 7PM.
