Rosemary Good

Rosemary Good died after a long illness at the Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH on August 12, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Arthur T. Good and Rose (Biggi) Good.
Rosemary is survived by her nieces Patricia Croisier of Toms River, NJ; Pamela Flanagan of Nashua, NH; her nephew Deacon Geoffrey Ashman of Manchester, NH; grandnieces Emilie Croisier of Austin, TX; Ellen Croisier of Jersey City, NJ; Roisin "Rosie" Flanagan and Mairin "Molly" Flanagan of Nashua, NH; great-grand niece Aurora Croisier and great-grand nephew Georges Croisier of Austin, TX. Rosemary was pre-deceased by her sister Marie Good Ashman.
Born in Dorchester, MA on October 16, 1926 Rosemary lived most of her life in the greater Boston area before moving to Manchester, NH. She graduated from Mount Saint Joseph Academy Brighton, MA in 1944, and from Boston Teachers College in 1948. She earned her Masters Degree in Speech and Language Therapy from Emerson College in 1959. Rosemary taught in the Boston School System for 40 years, both as a primary grade teacher and as a speech therapist. She loved the challenge of working with children with speech impediments, helping them to improve their verbal communication skills.
She met the love of her life: Herb Nuckolls in 1960 at the Commodore Ballroom in Lowell, MA. She was blessed with his company for almost 50 years until his death in 2010. An avid traveler who loved to see animals in their natural habitat, Rosemary spent summer breaks from school, and much of her retirement seeing the world – including her most recent trips: Bermuda in 2016, and Seattle in 2017.
Along with family and friends other loves included music: she sang with the Sweet Adelines Liberty Belle Chorus in Arlington, MA for over 40 years; and she loved her beloved Boston Red Sox.
