Roy R. Cormier

Roy R. “Bucky” Cormier, 70, of 83 Johnson Street, died April 9, 2004 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Roxbury, MA. He was born in Manchester on February 1, 1934, the son of Ralph and Josephine Cormier and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a truck driver for many years until his retirement and belonged to the Teamsters Union Local 633. He had been a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Family members include his wife of 48 years, Dorothy (Maxson) Cormier; two sons, Troy Cormier and Gary Cormier, both of Mancheter; four grandchildren; a sister, Marsha Gagnon of Manchester and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 6 to 7 PM with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
