ROY BENJAMIN LEACH

LITTLETON  Roy B. Leach, 84, passed away on Monday, October 13th at the Lafayette Center in Franconia after a brief illness.

Roy was born on February 7, 1919, in Lunenburg, VT, a son of George and Lillian Leach.

Roy, affectionately known as Moto, was employed by the town of Littleton for 29 years and retired in 1980. Prior to working for the town, he worked in the Gilman Paper Mill and Richardson Dairy. After his retirement, he drove a bus for Dick Wilson.

Roy was a lifetime member of the Eagles Club, enjoyed fishing, his flowers, working in his garage, and spending time with his family.

A sister, Mary Mooney of Chula Vista, CA; a son, Paul and wife Patricia Leach of Littleton; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Leach of Derry, NH; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson survive him. His parents, George and Lillian Leach, his wife, Marjorie, a daughter, Jane Chase, a son, Allen Leach, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, predeceased Roy.

SERVICES -- Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 15th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton, NH. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Lyn O. McIntosh officiating. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Littleton. A luncheon will follow at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Bethlehem.
