Roy M. Putnam, 80 of Elliot St., Brattleboro, VT died on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Pine Heights Nursing Home. He was born in Andover, VT on March 8, 1937; the son of the late Archie G. and Mary H. Putnam of W. Brattleboro.
Mr. Putnam attended the Brattleboro school system. He was married to Alice Viens, whom later divorced. Alice predeceased him on August 12, 2010.
He is survived by a sister, Patricia P. Butler of Brattleboro.
He is predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Williams of FL on February 28, 1996, Ruth Bell of Brattleboro in 2001 and a brother, William P. Putnam of Brattleboro on May 19, 1996.
Roy worked at various places, including the Flat Street Parking Garage, Pizza on Canal Street, delivering newspapers and at the Cotton Mill.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. The KER-WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME, Brattleboro, VT is assisting the family with arrangements.
