Russell Ian Leen

Russell Ian Leen, 49, of Bedford, died in Bedford on March 6, 2001. He was born in New York City, NY on July 24, 1951, the son of Albert and Miriam (Proskauer) Leen and had been a Bedford resident since 1975. He received a BS degree from the University of Colorado in 1973 and an MS degree in Anthropology from Syracuse University in 1975. He was a career agent for the Mutual of Omaha from 1979 to 1999, was a sixteen year honor club member and a member of the Sales Leader Round Table. He was a active voice at Bedford Town Council Meetings. He had a passion for bicycling and the visual arts. Family members include his brother, Todd Leen of Beaverton, OR. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 14, 2001 at 3:30 PM in the McAllaster Room of the Bedford Public Library. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bedford Public Library in Russell's name. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
