LITTLETON, NH -- Russell Noyes, 83, died peacefully at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital on September 26 2014 surrounded by his family, after a period of declining health over 4 months.

Russell was born May 17, 1931 to Earl and Adelaide Noyes growing up principally around Enfield, New Hampshire, surrounded by many extended family members. After completing his education at Enfield High School, Russell enrolled in the United States Navy where he served his country as a Seabee in Italy and Cuba. In February 1960 he married his wife, Joyce and they had two children, Stephen and Sherri. Russell worked for New England Telephone & Telegraph for 33 years. In 1983 Russell and his wife moved to Littleton, New Hampshire where they resided for nearly 34 years. Russell was always the type of individual who made friends easily and with many of these friends he shared his love of the outdoors, his sense of humor and love of homemade food.

Russell is survived by his wife of 54 years Joyce Noyes of Littleton, his son Stephen Noyes and his wife Linda of Bethlehem, his daughter Sherri Sinclair of Milford, his granddaughter Nicole Blodgett of Claremont, his sister Madeline Cattabriga, and her husband Jon Cattabriga of Enfield and his brother-in-law Fred Barker and his wife Sandra Barker also of Enfield, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES -- A potluck gathering celebrating Russ's life is presently being planned for a later date. For additional details about this gathering please go directly to the Pillsbury Phaneuf website.

In Lieu of any donations or flowers the family request that individuals make contributions to their favorite charity in Russell's name.
