Ruth M. (Fontaine) Cochran-Rochford, 84, of Hooksett, passed away at Maple Leaf Health Care Center on September 23, 2010.
She was born in Manchester on March 4, 1926, the daughter of Lionel and Rosalind (Farnham) Fontaine and had been a lifelong resident of Hooksett. She was an avid skier and golfer and was a long-time member of the Intervale Country Club. She was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur William Cochran, Jr.
In Her Life: Family members include her husband, Murray Rochford; two sons, Arthur William Cochran III and his wife Tracy of Auburn and Stephen Cochran and his wife Sandra Matheson of Hooksett; a daughter, Polly Anderson and her husband Jason of Hampton; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Fontaine and his wife Eleanor of CA; a sister, Hazel Watts of AZ; and nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to either the Maple Leaf Heath Care Center, Patient Fund, 198 Pearl Street, Manchester, NH 03103 or to the Alzheimerâs Association, 1 Bedford Farm Drive, Suite 105, Bedford, NH 03110.
