FRANCONIA, NH Ruth A. Dezan, 90, formerly of Lisbon, passed away at Lafayette Center in Franconia on March 30, 2004.
Ruth was born a daughter to Arthur and Evelyn (Fenoff) Cooper, on December 23, 1913 in Barnett, Vermont.
Ruth graduated from Barnett High School. She married Clayton Dezan on December 9, 1953 in Fitzwilliams, NH. Ruth was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was previously employed as a lathe operator for United Aircraft in Hartford, CT, as well as a waitress at the Littleton Diner.
Surviving family members include her husband of 50 years, Clayton Dezan of Franconia, NH; three sisters, Eunice Howe of North Conway, NH, Iona Fenoff of Connecticut, and Leona Bigeau of Rochester, NH; and several nieces and nephews. One sister, Gertrude, predeceased her.
SERVICES Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
