Ruth Jensen

Ruth Jensen, 76, of 360 Putnam Street, Manhester, died August 10, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center. She was born September 17, 1924, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Alfred and Catherine ''Maud'' (Loughlin) Jensen and had been a resident of Manchester since 1975. She was educated in Brooklyn Schools before moving to Manchester, NH. She was employed at Lord and Taylor in New York City and worked for Jordan Marsh in New Hampshire for 25 years. Family members include a sister-in-law, Genevieve Jensen of Bedford, NH, two nieces, Charlene Henderson of Ocala, Florida and Julie Jensen Clement of Manchester, NH, two nephews, Stephen Jensen of Beverly, Ma., and C. Christopher Jensen of Bedford, NH, grand nieces and grand nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Patrick Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Patrick Church Building Fund, 138 Coolidge Avenue, Manchester, NH 03102 or for masses for her, from that parish.
