Ruth Nora (Shackleton) Lincoln Age 73, passed away peacefully at her son’s home on February 16th, surrounded by her devoted family. Ruth dedicated her life to her family and her home. She was well known for her witty, sarcastic sense of humor. She is pre deceased by her mother Alice, father John, Brother Sonny, and grandson Danny “Doc”. Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 54 years James “Chuggy” Lincoln, 6 children Linda weir and husband Bob, John Lincoln and wife Debbie, Jim Lincoln and wife Taunya, Ruthie Lincoln and Kevin, Danny Lincoln and his wife Michelle, Cindy Lincoln, and her sister Ivalee Humphreys, 17 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren. In Ruth’s own words, left behind for comfort “Tears are for ourselves for a loss we dread to come. We grieve at the thought of losing our loved ones. Heaven waits for those who go. Let them leave with peaceful mind. They do not want to cause this pain to those they leave behind. Find comfort in your faith in God, for this is not the end. Dry your eyes and cry no more, for we shall meet again.” Services: Calling hours will be from 2pm-3pm on Friday, February 23, followed by a mass of Christian burial, at the Phaneuf Funeral Home on Coolidge Ave, in Manchester, NH.
