RUTH P. NUTE
LITTLETON, NH Ruth P. Nute, 78, passed away at the Littleton Regional Hospital on August 30, 2004. She was the beloved wife of Daniel P. Nute for over 54 years.
A native of Littleton, she was born on March 11, 1926, the daughter of Meddie and Elmina (Taupier) Perry. She was educated in the local school system and graduated from Littleton High School in 1943.
Mrs. Nute served as a personal assistant to physicians in the local area throughout her life, as well as in other medical support services for the Littleton Hospital. She also participated in the writing and documentation of local area history, served as a secretary to the Littleton School Board, Littleton High School Reunion Association, and was an active volunteer at the Littleton Area Senior Center. Her interests included music, golfing, painting, and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered for her caring personality and warm sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel P. Nute of Littleton, NH; two daughters, Janice Nute Severance and husband, Melvin, of Concord, NH, and Deborah (Debbie) Cronin, and husband, Kevin, of Manchester, NH; two sons, David Nute, and wife, Linda, of Bedford, NH, and Jeffrey Nute and wife, Pamela, of Littleton, NH; four grandchildren Allison and Samuel Nute, of Bedford, NH, and Jocelyn and Emily Nute of Littleton, NH. Two brothers, Bertram Perry and Guy Perry predeceased her.
SERVICES A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 1st at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John Fleming as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Rose Cemetery.
