Ruth G. Thompson, 74, of Manchester died January 16, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center. She was born June 29, 1927 in West Stewartstown, NH the daughter of the late Philip H. and Marion E. (Biron) Loughlin and had been a resident of Manchester for most of her life. Ruth was a dietitian and also taught for the State of NH for over 30 years. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church and the widow of Robert Thompson who died in 1989. Family members include her brother Richard Loughlin, Sr., and his wife Marie (Ranger) of Manchester, two brother-in-laws George Naum of Manchester and John Thompson of Belmont, NH, a sister-in-law Dorothy Loughlin of Bedford, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A Calling hour is at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Saturday morning at 8 o'clock with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 9 o'clock in St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
