Sally M. Bailey, 71, died Sunday July 25, 2010 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Sally was born the daughter of Marshall and Anne (Whipple) Bailey in Whitefield on October 20, 1939. Sally was a nursing assistant for many years at Littleton Regional hospital prior to going to North Country Home Health where she retired in 1995. She loved taking care of her patients. She was also on the Ladies Auxiliary at the FOE Post # 2629 and active with the Littleton Historical Society. Sally will be remembered as a kind and generous person and for her joy in cooking, plants, reading, puzzles as well as being a loving wife and mother, grandmother and nurse. She was a proud member of Littleton First Congregational Church.
Survivors include: husband of 33 years, Terry Tiger Bailey of Littleton, son, Keith R. McDonald of Littleton, daughters and son-in-law: Victoria Lynn and Basil Colpitts of Littleton and Vanessa McDonald of Las Vegas, sister, Carrie Leigher of Littleton, grandson, Todd M. Colpitts and one great-grandchild as well as a host of friends and extended family.
SERVICES A memorial service will be held at Keller and Pillsbury Funeral Homes on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 7pm Rev. Tom Campbell officiating and calling hours to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal shelter.
