Sandra Lynne Cirello

Sandra “Sandy” Lynne (Lavoie) Cirello, 71, of Nashua, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Southern NH Medical Center.

Born on April 1, 1955. Sandy was the daughter of the late Sonya (Coleron) Lavoie and Henry Lavoie. Sandy grew up in Waltham, MA where she attended local schools and was a graduate of Waltham High School in 1973. Sandy retired from Nashua Eye in . Prior to that, Sandy was a long time employee of Waltham Weston Hospital where she met her husband, Charles “Chip”.

Sandy had a way of showing her love without always needing to say it. For her, love was often measured in flour, sugar, butter, and whatever happened to be baking in the oven. She was an exceptional baker, and if Sandy cared about you, there was a very good chance you were eventually going to be handed something homemade. Cakes, cookies, breads, and all the other treats she made weren’t simply baked goods—they were her love language. She took genuine joy in making something for the people she loved and seeing them enjoy it.

Sandy also had a deep love for travel and the memories made along the way. She loved discovering new places, experiencing new things, and sharing those adventures with her husband, the person who had been by her side for so many years. What began at work became a lifelong partnership, and the two were inseparable ever since.

At home, Sandy was perfectly content settling in with a good Hallmark movie or one of her favorite cooking shows. Sports never quite captured her attention, but give her a kitchen, a recipe, a television full of cooking, or a Hallmark story and she was right where she wanted to be. Sandy had a deep love for animals, especially her cats, who were very much part of her family and brought her endless companionship and joy.

Sandy will be remembered for her generous heart, her love of family, her adventurous spirit, her talent in the kitchen, and the many little ways she made the people around her feel loved. Her baked goods may eventually be gone, but the love that went into every one of them—and the memories created around them—will remain.

She is survived behind by her beloved husband, Charles “Chip” Cirello of Nashua, NH; her sisters, Susan Higgins and her partner Steve Deneault, Donna Ellis and her husband Rocky Ellis, and Wendy Sarno and her late husband, Ralph Sarno; and was predeceased by her brother, Richard “Ricky” Lavoie. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and friends.

SERVICES: At Sandy’s request, no formal services will be held. Her family will remember and celebrate her privately.
