Sandra J. Miner, 76, of Boscawen, NH passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Sandy was born April 5, 1949, in Concord, NH, the daughter of Elwyn B. And Annie F. (French) Chamberlin of Penacook. She attended the Charles Street School, the Summer Street School, and Penacook High School. Upon graduation she worked for the NH Aeronautics Commission, J.M. Field’s Snack Bar, Alans of Boscawen Restaurant for 22 years, and most recently for the Merrimack Valley school district as snack bar cook at the middle school. Sandy was also a member of the Torrent Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Boscawen Fre Department Ladies Auxiliary, where she was President for several years.
Sandy’s hobbies included reading, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, variety puzzles in crossword books, and crafts of all kinds.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leonard A. Miner Sr. of Boscawen; her son Leonard Miner Jr. and wife Lea of Laconia; her daughter Rebecca Reed and husband Ed of Salisbury; two grandchildren, Allyssa Miner of Cambridge, MA, and Jacob Miner of Haverhill, MA; as well as several in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Annie Chamberlin, her daughter Patience Hibbard, and her brother Stanley Chamberlin of Loudon.
Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday, December 20th 11:00am-1:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street in Boscawen. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery on Corn Hill Road in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
