Sandra L. Vickers

Sandra L. (Bourbeau) Vickers, 80, of Manchester, passed away at Courville at Manchester on February 14, 2025, after a long illness.

She was born in Manchester on May 21, 1944, the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice (Poirier) Bourbeau. She spent 25 years as a Navy wife traveling around the world. Her favorite country and best memories were her years living in Portugal. Her pets were the loves of her life and over the years she had many of them. She loved them above all else. Sandra loved to cook and drink wine. Her final years were spent in tranquility living on the river with her dog Cubby. 

Family members include her son Larry Allard, Sr. and his longtime partner Tracy Terrio of Manchester; four grandchildren, Larry Allard Jr., Danielle Turner and her husband Laban, Zachary Allard and Katherine Terrio; a sister, Ann Wilke; and several cousins, David Pourier of CA, Cathy Whitney and her husband Ted of FL, Ann Gratton and her husband Alan of VT; and Jim Poirier of VT. The family would also like to give a Special Thanks to Alejandra Zeron Sandra’s Caretaker for the last few years. 

A private graveside service will take place in the family lot at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manchester Animal Shelter at https://www.manchesteranimalshelter.org/.
