Sarah Cooper

It is with sadness that we share the passing of Sarah Moody Cooper, 95, of Concord, NH, on January 11, 2026. She was born in Tyngsboro, MA, May 26, 1930, to Jason and Luella (Powell) Moody.

Sarah loved doing her crafts and Sunday afternoon crossword puzzles from the paper. She was loved by many, especially the children. She told them stories and taught them many things, but most of all, she made them smile and feel loved.

Sarah was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Frank A. Cooper Sr.; daughter-in-law Evelynn; son-in-law Bill; granddaughter Sarah; two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children Frank Cooper, Caroline Kean, William and Susie Cooper, Stanley Cooper, Terri Cooper, Kathy and David Duford, and Brion and Carol Cooper; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Sarah will be greatly missed by one and all. She will be remembered with much love and respect.

Sarah will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Penacook, NH, at a privately attended committal service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any children’s foundation of your choice. Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Boscawen office, is assisting the family with arrangements.
