Scott Fifield, 41, died November 2, 2010 at the Catholic Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Manchester on March 21, 1969 to Paul and Lorraine (Blanchette) Fifield. He was a 1987 graduate of Manchester Memorial High School. Scott attended St. Anselm's College and Granite State College, where he held a Bachelor of Arts in writing. He graduated magna cum laude. Scott was also the recipient of the Academic Challenge Award from the Merrimack Valley Regional College for Lifelong Learning.
He worked for the State of NH as a disability adjudicator.
He enjoyed writing and playing cards. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed taking frequent trips to Mohegan Sun Casino.
In His Life: He is survived by his parents, Paul and Lorraine Fifield and two sisters, Joni Merritt of Concord and Robin Plamondon and her husband Mike of Manchester. He is also survived by his nieces, U.S. Army Lt. Jessica Miller and her husband Lt. Nathan Miller and Allison Kukla of Natick, MA and his best friend Nick Skarlos. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins. He will be missed by the family dog, Helen.
Services: To honor his request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St, Manchester. Memorial Donations may be made to the Manchester Patient Service Fund, Manchester Kidney Center, 1050 Perimeter Road, Suite 502, Manchester, NH 03103 of Blesses Sacrament Food Pantry.
