SHARON (COONEY) HOLBROOK
Littleton, NH – Sharon Ellen Holbrook, 68, passed away on November 12, 2017 at her home in Littleton after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
She was born on February 22, 1949 in Berlin NH, the daughter of the late Francis and Winnifred (Moulton) Cooney. She was raised and educated in Berlin, and attended the NH Technical Institute where she received her LPN in Nursing.
She met the love of her life, Wayne Holbrook, at NHTI. They were married on August 16, 1969 and relocated to Littleton. She worked at Littleton Regional Hospital as an LPN and later as a CNA at North Country Home Health.
Sharon loved to watch her grandchildren play sports and often played raucous card games with her family.
She is survived by her siblings Andy & Diane Cooney of Berlin NH, Gary Cooney of Berlin NH, Sandy & Dennis Solinsky of Bath NH, and Patrick Cooney of Berlin NH; her brother-in-law Bruce Holbrook of East Falmouth MA; her children Tina & Bill Bedor of Franconia NH and Steven Holbrook of Waterford VT; her grandchildren Derek Holbrook and Lindsay Holbrook of Waterford VT; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES – Calling hours will be at Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home in Littleton NH on Monday November 20th from 4:30 – 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency at 536 Cottage Street, Littleton NH 03561.
