Sharon J. (Hull) Tonas, 63, of Fremont, passed away on December 21, 2025, after a long battle with Ovarian cancer at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Goffstown on May 27, 1962, the daughter of Harry Hull and Joan (Turcotte) Field. She worked for many years as a commercial lines manager for Joseph Hills Insurance Agency. Sharon was an avid volunteer and philanthropist with many of her donations being handmade creations of her own. She started a Backpack for Kids Program and ran many food drives for the Fremont Food Pantry. As an active member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, she was involved in many of the church fundraisers and events.
Her family was everything to her and the driving force for her strength. She was able to fulfill the items on her bucket list including many trips across the world with her family by her side. Her eternal memory will live on through her many sewing creations and crafts that she poured her heart and soul into for others.
Family members include her husband of 41 years, Costas Tonas; her mother, Joan Field of Manchester; her father and step-mother, Harry and Janice Hull of FL; three daughters, Brittany Swanson and her husband Greg of Raymond; Cassandra Boutwell and her husband Tyler of Deerfield, and Alexandria Ng and her husband Justin of VA; her five beloved grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Gregory, Preston, Clark, George, and Bentley; three brothers, Harry Hull of Auburn, Kenneth Hull of Weare, and Jeffrey Hull of Cape Canaveral, FL; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Jay Hull as well as her Uncle Robert Hull III
Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
