Shauna Jeanne Wall, 41, of Putney, Vermont passed away on Wednesday, February 27th in her home, surrounded by her children and loved ones.
Shauna was born in Concord, MA on July 1, 1977, the daughter of Mary Neville-Wall and Stephen Wall. Shauna called Massachusetts her home throughout her youth, living in Salem and eventually moving to Warwick/Northfield where she was graduated from Pioneer Valley Regional High School. While there she excelled in both track and cross country.
Shauna was a traveler at heart. She loved to explore new places, new ideas and always said yes to an adventure. She fell in love and had two beautiful children, Kira Jeanne Boucher (19) and Elijah Sky Boucher (15). Vermont called to her, and she made Putney her home for the last 19 years.
Shauna was a mystic, a nature and plant lover, and was known to spend long, contemplative hours at her favorite river. She loved music, could dance the night away, make anyone laugh, and sometimes be known to cause a bit of trouble. She made a career at New Chapter teaching the world about the healing power of herbal medicine.
Shauna was a blessing to all who knew her. She was always the fiercest protector of her friends and family, and her community was so important to her. Her world was driven by boundless love for her children, of whom she was so proud.
Survivors include her parents, two children, and two brothers. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom have great love for her. Additionally, she leaves many dear friends whom she also considered family.
Friends are invited to celebrate Shauna's life on Saturday, March 16th from 1-4 at the Putney School, Calder Hall, Putney VT.
